Cellenium was founded in 1999 when it was spun-off from Contop Ltd. - a hi-tech company specializing in wireless data communication solutions, including smart home applications, telemetry, and other remote monitoring and control applications. Cellenium is a privately held company with its U.S. headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J.; and sales offices around the world including in Israel, Singapore and the United Kingdom.

Cellenium is an affiliate of Elbit-Elron (NASDAQ - ELRN), one of Israel's premier high-tech groups in Israel.
